The Historical Society of the Nyacks, founded in 1994, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to researching,
preserving, and fostering appreciation of the history of the Nyack community

To accomplish this mission the Society welcomes potential donations of historical papers and artifacts related to the community, which will be reviewed prior to adding to the collection.  Such material will be preserve for future reference, research, and exhibition.
The Society sponsors educational  programs, exhibits, and tours to promote  local history.
