SOLD OUT: THE WORLDS OF HENRY HUDSON and MANAHATTA

This day trip is sold out, but all are encouraged to visit the museum separately to see these marvelous exhibits. The day trip includes an exciting day trip to The  Museum of the City of New York for two fascinating exhibits,quad 400 logo a guided tour and a light lunch:

Amsterdam / New Amsterdam. The Worlds Of Henry Hudson celebrating the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’ s historic voyage, and,

Manahatta / Manhattan, “island of many hills” in Lenape, which explores the environment that Hudson encountered, including stately wetlands, abundant wildlife and people who lived in line with nature. Favorably reviewed in the New York Times.

Enjoy a guided tour of these exhibits along with full access to other exhibits including Timescapes - a multimedia portrait of New York City from 1600 – 2001, and New York Interiors  - several Dutch rooms dating from New Amsterdam to the early 20th century.

Weather permitting, we will have a light lunch on the museum terrace and visit the beautiful Conservatory Garden, just across the street in Central Park. The garden was given to the City by Cornelius Vanderbilt.

Cost: $45  for Historical Society of the Nyacks members, $ 50 for non-members
