School Exhibit

This memorabilia exhibit of Nyack's first school was shown during October, 2004 in the Nyack Library. Thanks to Pat Condello and Karen Kennell for assembling this exhibit and to the Nyack Library for hosting it. We also thank our many contributors for their gracious donations and loans of memorabilia.

Tenth Anniversary Cruise

Our tenth anniversary cruise on October 24, 2004 was a big success. Many thanks to more than 100 members and friends for helping us celebrate while enjoying autumn leaves and hearing tales and songs of the Hudson. Our wish, As we blew out the candles on our birthday cake, was to celebrate our next anniversary in our own museum.

Van Houten's Landing Exhibit

The "Van Houten's Landing" storefront exhibit of boat-building history was held during June, 2004. It was co-sponsored by the Van Houten's Neighborhood Association and the Historical Society of the Nyacks.

Other Tours

Be sure to attend the Walking Tours sponsored by the Friends of the Nyacks (Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Nyack, South Nyack, Downtown Nyack and others).

Our Second Spring House Tour was held on May 8, 2004.
